ClipShare — copy here, paste there

What it is

Most clipboard-sharing tools route what you copy through a cloud server. ClipShare has no server at all. Paired devices talk to each other directly over the same Wi-Fi, or over a private network you run yourself, such as Tailscale. There is nowhere your text is stored, and no one it is handed to.

What it can do

• Two-way, instant sync — copy on the Mac, paste on Android, and the other way round. It sits quietly in the Mac menu bar and as a small resident service on Android.
• Pairing in seconds — show a QR code on the Mac, scan it with Android, done. Devices on the same network are discovered automatically.
• Beyond your Wi-Fi — away from home, sync continues over a private VPN you operate, such as Tailscale.

Privacy and security

• Device to device — no server in between, so your clipboard is never stored outside your devices.
• TLS encrypted — all sync traffic is encrypted, and the Android app pins the Mac's certificate so it talks only to your paired Mac.
• No account, no analytics — no sign-up, no trackers, no ads.
• Signed and notarized — the Mac app is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
